LEWISTON, Maine — The 19th annual Androscoggin Business to Business Trade Show — Building for the Future will be held 9:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Thursday, June 12, at the Androscoggin Bank Colisee in Lewiston.

Presented by the Lewiston-Auburn Economic Growth Council, this premier networking event attracts 2,500 business professionals from throughout New England and nearly 200 exhibitors.

With so many ways for businesses to connect with their customers through company websites, Facebook, Twitter, etc., show organizers remind us that at times nothing can beat a face to face connection. “As invaluable as social media has become, I think it is critically important to remember the significance of meeting someone in person,” noted Dina Jackson, trade show coordinator. “The opportunity to shake someone’s hand, answer their questions and demonstrate your product or explain your service in person is priceless.”

With a full service website at providing businesses and attendees the ability to register online, and the added bonus of Facebook and Twitter, show organizers are focused on providing cost effective ways for businesses to meet new customers and reconnect with existing ones. In keeping with the cost effective theme, booth fees have remained the same with costs ranging from $225 to $625 per space. Additional discounts and savings are available for Androscoggin County Chamber of Commerce members. There is no fee for business professionals to attend the event, when a business card is presented at the door.

Many popular mainstays of this successful show will be on tap again this year, including the popular kick-off Chamber of Commerce Breakfast at the Ramada Inn in Lewiston, impressive prize drawings, and a Business After Hours featuring local restaurants. This show is a networking goldmine not to be missed.

Booth space is still available.
