American Legion, Bingham, Maine

The American Legion Stanley Bean Post #99, Bingham, Maine is sponsoring an Open House for the public on November 11, 2011 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.. There will be information, photos, uniforms and much more on display from WW1, WW2, Korea, Viet Nam and the War on Terrorism. Plus there will be videos / DVDs telling the story of these wars. Refreshments will be available. Also a display of the future Fallen Heroes Monument, to be unveiled during the Bicentennial Events 2012, will be there. It is free and open to the public. Come and share these memories with some of the Veterans who were there. A GREAT chance to let the Veterans and their families know how much you enjoy your freedom! The same evening, there will be a public dance with live band, Holy Smoke Band, from 8 p.m. to midnight at the Legion Hall, Meadow Street, Bingham, ME. Come and Dance the night away with the fabulous Holy Smoke Band!
