American Camp Association elects board president

The American Camp Association, New England is pleased to announce the election of Steve Sudduth as the organization’s board president at its recent annual conference.

Sudduth has been involved with the ACA New England since 1999, and has advised ACA New England and the national American Camp Association on legislative matters since 2008. He is the Owner and Co-Director of Wyonegonic Camps, where he has been for 30 years.

Sudduth also serves as the board pPresident of the Maine Youth Camp Association and is an active member of the Association of Independent Camps and the Maine Camp Experience. He also is an ACA Standards lead visitor and until recently, served as the chairman for the ACA National Government Relations and Public Policy Group.

Originally from Hingham, Mass., Sudduth now resides in Denmark, where Wyonegonic Camps is located.
