PRESQUE ISLE, Maine — An Aging and Living Well Expo will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 1, at the University of Maine at Presque Isle. The expo will benefit anyone who is thinking of retirement or who is retired already.
The Aroostook Agency on Aging, United Way of Aroostook, AARP/Maine, WAGM and the Seniors Achieving Greater Education/UMPI have teamed to make this EXPO happen for northern Maine’s people. There are 13 informative and fun workshops to choose from, 17 businesses providing products and services to help improve quality of life plus lunch.
Dr. Marilyn Gugliucci, gerontologist from the University of New England, will provide a keynote talk and AARP of Maine State Director Dr. Lori Parham will address Social Security and Medicare’s future. For more information go to www.aroostookaging.org.
