Joe Finnigan has joined AG New England as the new retail pricing manager. He replaces Allan Hulse, who recently was promoted to vice president Wholesale Merchandising and Procurement.
In announcing the Finnigan appointment, Director of Retail Programs at AG New England-Curt O’Hara said in a press release, “We’re extremely pleased to have Joe onboard with us here at AG and back in his home state. We’ve known of Joe and his fine work for some time as he’s worked with many of our customers and has an outstanding reputation with them. ”
Finnigan brings a great deal of retail pricing and computer technology experience to his new position at AG New England. He last worked at Droste Consultants for 14 years as the Technical Support Manager. Prior to that, he worked in retail pricing at Wetterau Foods and then SuperValu in Andover, Mass., his last position being the Regional Retail Pricing Manager. He worked a combined 13 years for Wetterau Foods and SuperValu. Prior to Supervalu. Finnigan had been the Store Manager for Kealey Farms Inc. in Salem, N.H.
Finnigan is working with his predecessor, Allan Hulse, and Denis LaFortune to help ensure a smooth transition in the Retail Pricing Department. He will work out of Pembroke, N.H. He also is a resident of New Hampshire.
Associated Grocers of New England is owned entirely by Independent Retail Grocers as members of a cooperative and is the largest retailer-owned, wholesale grocery distribution center in New England. The cooperative serves independent retail food stores in Maine, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Vermont and the Upstate New York Albany area.
