Do you have questions about the impact of the Affordable Care Act (ACA) for your business?

Join SCEC for this seminar March 1 in Machias or Calais outlining what you need to know to keep your business compliant as the major ACA/health care reform law implementation date of January 1, 2014 approaches. We’ll talk about health care in Maine from a small group perspective–with a review of the major components of the ACA and what it means for small business in our state.

For your convenience, we will be offering this free seminar at two locations and times.

Machias: March 1 from 7:45-9AM at the University of Maine at Machias Science Building, Room 102/Lecture Hall. (Snow date: March 8).

Calais: March 1 from 12:45-2PM in the Washington County Community College Assembly Room. (Snow date: March 8).

Each session is provided free of charge to Washington County employers. Advance registration is required. Please reserve your space with SCEC Communications Manager Will Tuell by February 22, 2013. Tuell can be reached at 207-255-0983 or by email at wtuell@sunrisecounty.org. Please specify whether you’ll be attending in Calais or Machias, as space is limited.
