Advocating for Animals in Sanford

Posted Aug. 01, 2014, at 10:55 a.m.

Wednesday, Aug. 6, 2014 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Location: Louis B Goodall Memorial Library, 952 Main Street, Sanford, ME

Animals cannot speak up for themselves, so it’s up to us to be their voice.

Please join us for a free grassroots meeting to discuss current issues affecting Maine’s animals, including the upcoming bear referendum, and learn how you can help advocate for animals with tried and true tips for making a difference for animals on the ground in Maine.

If you’re concerned about puppy mills, wildlife protection, farm animals, or generally creating a more compassionate Maine, please attend a meeting near you to get involved and hear how you can help.

RSVP to an event below to lend your voice for animals in Maine and beyond. Contact Katie Hansberry at khansberry@humanesociety.org if you have additional questions.
