In March a group of Maine Auduboners organized by Ron Davis spent two weeks birding and observing aquatic and rain forest mammals, including river dolphins and primates in the Upper Amazon Basin of northeastern Peru. The group had access on a research riverboat to restricted portions of the large and pristine Pacaya Samiria National Reserve including canoe travel into the intriguing flooded forest. Throughout his illustrated presentation, Ron will describe their exciting adventures.
