4R Animal Shelter, a 501.c.3 non profit, State of Maine Licensed Animal Shelter, located in Lee, Maine, is holding a FREE training demonstration this weekend with trainer Ronald Johnson Jr of R Jay’s Farm. Ron will be working with “Baby” a 3 year old palomino colt, a resident at 4R. Baby has not been saddled or ridden yet, and Ron’s job is to introduce Baby to the basics and see how far the training can progress over the weekend. He will work with horses from 10 – 4 Saturday and Sunday.

4R will be holding a Tack Sale throughout the weekend, and Saturday there will be an auction also. The auction items range from blankets, flowers, gift certificates for massage therapy, hair styles, jewelry catalog, etc. to decorative items and much more.

This is a family friendly event and should be entertaining and informative for all ages.

Directions can be found on the web site for 4R at http://www.4ranimalshelter.org
