CAMDEN, Maine — A backdrop of a tropical sunset graced the 20th annual Chefs’ Gala sponsored by Camden National Bank and held on April 27.

A sold-out crowd of 432 guests enjoyed delectable Cuban cuisine prepared by local chefs with approximately $60,000 in net proceeds going to Maine Coast Memorial Hospital’s Breast Clinic and Mammogram Scholarships.

Complimenting the Havana Nights decor were decorations courtesy of Atlantic Landscape with lobby design and centerpieces by The Bud Connection. Beautiful tropical flowers were sponsored by Witham Family Properties.

The evening, hosted by WLBZ News Center 2 Team of Chris Facchini and Steve McKay, featured the music of The Tony Boffa Band compliments of Darling’s Auto Mall and Darling’s Chevrolet.

A WLBZ2-produced 20 year history of the Chefs’ Gala featured eight breast cancer survivors – reinforcing the importance of this important fundraiser for our community.
