A Day designed to do things together – Learn – Enjoy – Bring Family & Friends!
NO Charge to participate in the activities!
Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult
Activities will start at 10 AM and continue until 12 Noon.
Food will be available (donations appreciated) – 12 Noon until 1 PM
Activities will resume at 1 PM until 3 PM

Penobscot Riverkeepers – Enjoy the Penobscot River in a 28’ Canoe
Maine Science Lady – What’s in the Pond Water – Look and See!
Penobscot Fly Fishers – Fly casting at Pond – no hooks just learn the techniques – 10 and Older only please!
Fly tying in Clubhouse – learn to tie the flies to catch the fish
Inland Fisheries and Wildlife – Wardens & Dogs – Subject to their availability!
Penobscot River Restoration – Making Wood Block Prints – Learn more about carving and stamping
US Coast Guard Auxillary Flotilla 1-1 – Learn the importance of Personal Flotation Devices in all watercraft
Penobscot County Conservation Association – Learn beginning basics of using an Air Rifle
National Archery in the School Program – Archery for Beginners
Maine Trappers Assoc. – Meet the Trappers and Learn More about why they trap, how they trap and what they do with the game they take.
Project Wild – How do birds use their beaks? Why do birds have different beaks and what do they eat? An activity where children may participate and learn more about birds.
Our grounds have trails to walk and we welcome you to enjoy a day along the river!
