Outdoor worship service July 27

Posted July 03, 2014, at 11:56 a.m.

BREWER, Maine — Summers in Maine can mean lazy, hazy days at the beach, traveling across the state, enjoying tasty food at picnics and cookouts, watching parades and fireworks, and strolls in the park.

Summer is also a terrific opportunity to gather as a community. At 10 a.m. Sunday, July 27, St. Patrick’s Episcopal Church of Brewer cordially invites its neighbors and members of the community to join them for an outdoor worship service at Brewer Auditorium and Doyle Field.  The Rev. Rick Cross will be our celebrant for that Sunday’s worship service. Bring your folding chairs, blankets and something to share at the potluck picnic that will follow.

St. Patrick’s has held its annual outdoor service for the last several summers. This will be the first time that it has been celebrated at Doyle Field in Brewer.
