SKYWARN Storm Spotter training session

BANGOR, Maine — The annual SKYWARN Storm Spotter Training session will be held at 6 p.m. Monday, May 5, at Penobscot County Emergency Management Agency, 69 Hammond St., next to the Bangor Post Office.

The National Weather Service’s  SKYWARN storm spotters report large hail, damaging wind, tornadoes and flooding. Spotter training will teach you how to identify and report severe weather, as well as how to maintain awareness, which will help keep you and your loved ones safe and may even save the lives of others.
