Blackbear United Football Club of Bangor won the under-15 girls State Cup final on June 3, 2012, at Falmouth High School. Blackbear defeated southern Maine's Seacoast United 2-1 and earned a berth in the U.S. Youth Soccer Region I Tournament June 28-July 3. Team members are: (front row, from left) Allison Boulier, Savannah Allain, Pilar Elias, Claire Petersen, Anna-Maria Dagher, Diana Tyutyunnyk, Catelyn Kimball, Lily Koffman; (back) Coach MJ Ball, Maddie Page, Eve George, Emily Berry, Faith Forsythe, Abby Pyne, Opal Curless, Morgan Buck, Emma Gutheinz, Sarah Clough and Kaitlin Saulter.  Even after becoming executive director of Fields4Kids in Bangor, Ball continues to find time to coach, including this team as a U16 squad now.
