BELFAST — From 7-10 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 14, Valentine’s Day, there will be a great evening of fun, music and dance at The Crosby Center, 96 Church St. The Right Track, midcoast Maine’s own 11-piece super band will provide the grooves; Rhythm and blues, soul and funk — the best of dance music over the last 40 years. Dancers and music fans will thrill to behold.
Belfast Summer Nights is producing the event to raise funds to buy a new sound system. Increasing demands for better quality sound from musicians and more attentive audiences fuel the need. And you can help!
Admission is $12 at the door, $7 students. Couples, singles, families welcome. Ando Anderson, Belfast Summer Nights founder, encourages everyone to come on down and dance to this great band adding, “If you got any juice left these guys will stir it up.” A few volunteers will be needed for help that night in exchange for free admission. The event organizers plan to release details of more Valentine fun in the coming weeks.
