KITTERY — Lindy Maine will hold beginner swing dancing classes 6 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 11, at 7 Walker St. The class does not require attendees to come with a partner and students need no previous dancing experience.
Lindy Hop is the original form of swing dancing danced in the 1930s and 40s. It is danced to the big band and traditional jazz music of the era. This seven-week session will focus on six-count Lindy Hop, which is the easiest entry point to swing dancing.
