VASSALBORO – The New England Wildflower Society will hold a spring native plants walk from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, May 19, with staff research botanist, Arthur Haines, at Annie Sturgis Sanctuary, 346 Cushnoc Road. Descend into the gully to visit a variety of lime-loving plants, including wild ginger (extremely rare in Maine) and an array of woodland wildflowers.

Maine Audubon and NEWFS members:  $38; Non-members: $46

Please aware that some trails in Annie Sturgis Sanctuary are narrow and steep, making this trip moderately difficult and not appropriate for those with physical limitations.
