‘Introduction to Organic Gardening’ presentation with Downeast Lakes Land Trust

GRAND LAKE STREAM — Downeast Lakes Land Trust will welcome Paula Kovecses, from The Way It Grows (TWIG), as she presents an “Introduction to Organic Gardening,” 5 p.m. Tuesday, April 30, at 15 Water Street.

Learn how to work with nature, proper watering, proper pruning and problem solving.  Learn about beneficial insects and what plants attract them.  This two-hour class is free, and all are encouraged to attend.  For more information, please contact DLLT at (207) 796 – 2100, or email info@downeastlakes.org.

Paula and Laszlo Kovecses started the The Way It Grows LLC in Eastport, ME in 2014 after moving from Weare, New Hampshire in which they owned TWIG Horticultural Consulting LLC from 2005 until Ocotber 2015.  Paula has a degree in Horticulture from UNH, is an Accredited Organic Landscape Professional, and obtained her Permaculture Design Certificate from Colby Sawyer College.
