Book signings with cookbook authors Sandy Oliver and Sarah Walker Caron

BANGOR — Local food columnists and cookbook authors Sandy Oliver, author of “Cooking Maine Style,” and Sarah Walker Caron, author of “The Super Easy 5-Ingredient Cookbook,” will be signing books from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 6 at The Briar Patch, 27 Central Street. Join them to chat about local cooking, cookbook writing, recipes and more!

“Cooking Maine Style” is an ode to longtime Maine food columnist Marjorie Standish with recipes curated from her cookbooks and commentary by Sandy Oliver. It’s filled with a mix of classic Maine recipes and more modern takes on food. “The Super Easy 5-Ingredient Cookbook” is the cookbook for busy folks who want to eat well. It’s filled with quick and easy, from-scratch recipes.
