EAST MILLINOCKET — The first in this year’s Katahdin Revitalization Speaker’s Series will be “Tipping Point: A Economic Snapshot of the Katahdin Region” panel discussion 6-7:30 p.m. and social time 7:30-8 p.m. Thursday, May 3, at Katahdin Region Higher Education Center.

Panel discussion by Senior Researcher Adam Daigneault, University of Maine School of Forest Resources; and Senior Fellow Linda Silka, University of Maine George Mitchell Center; and CEO Adam Burk, Burk + Co. Daigneault and Silka have produced a comprehensive, baseline economic snapshot of the Katahdin region. Our community leaders, business owners, and citizens can use this info to help make better, more informed decisions and can serve as a measure of where we are doing well and where we need to improve. Former U.S. Congressman Mike Michaud will be moderator.
