On Friday, Feb, 9 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. UCP of Maine will be hosting “Ethical Considerations in the 21st Century”, an ethics training run by University of New England, School of Social Work’s Kelli Star Fox, LCSW, LADC, CCS. The event will be held at the Bangor Savings Bank G Clifton Learning Center located at 203 Maine Ave in Bangor.
Bonny Dodson, Director of Clinical Services for UCP of Maine, recently shared “UCP of Maine is very excited to be hosting this training and to be able to open it up to partner agencies. The training will cover how to manage ethical responsibilities in the digital world, with an interactive workshop that will, hopefully, produce lively conversation on the impact that electronic communications and social media have on clinical practice and relationships with clients.”
Kelli Star Fox, LCSW, LADC, CCS holds an MSW from University of New England, School of Social Work and a BA in Psychology from Rutgers University. Kelli has been in the field of mental health and addictions since 1985. Her clinical specialty is working with young children and families. She has provided clinical supervision to students, master and bachelor level clinicians and supervisors for 26+ years. Kelli is the Director of Field Education and assistant clinical professor at the UNE School of Social Work.
