Sunday, Jan. 14 (snow date Jan. 15)

Unitarian Universalist Church, 120 Park Street, Bangor

3 p.m. Panel: How does your organization address racism and how are those efforts related to the following Martin Luther King, Jr. quote?

A true revolution of values will soon cause us to question the fairness and justice of many of our past and present policies…True compassion is more than flinging a coin to a beggar.  It comes to see that an edifice which produces beggars needs restructuring… A nation that continues year after year to spend more money on military defense than on programs of social uplift is approaching spiritual death.

– Martin Luther King, Jr.  Riverside Church Speech April 7, 1967
