BRUNSWICK — Brunswick-Topsham Land Trust presents its Winter Gardening Workshop series, starting with “Basic Principles of Ecological Landscape Design,” with Jennifer Claster of Claster Landscape Architecture and Planning, 2-3:30 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 14, St. Paul’s Episcopal Church.

How can we design gardens to work in concert with ecological processes, rather than fighting against them? How can we use landscape design to improve the resiliency of our communities? In this talk, Claster will cover basic landscape design concepts integrated with ecological practices to enhance ecological health, resiliency, function, flow, and reduce maintenance needs and costs.
