Two George Stevens Academy students auditioned and were accepted to the 2018 All-State Jazz Festival.

The All-State Jazz Festival will be Thursday, Friday & Saturday, January 11, 12 and 13 at South Portland High School. On Saturday, Jan. 13, Isla and Elana and the other All-State Jazz students will perform in concert at the South Portland High School Performing Arts Center at 2 p.m. Everyone is invited to attend.

Please note:

Jazz All State Weather Concerns 2018:
We, at MMEA, are aware of the potential of an ice storm Saturday, Jan. 13 and the effect on the All State Jazz Festival. The guest conductors all are flying in for this festival. We will have a festival this weekend, here is the current plan.

If Saturday travel is dangerous the concert will be moved to Friday, Jan. 12  at 7 p.m.

The decision about concert time will be made by the host site director and MMEA board members on Thursday evening, Jan. 11.

The decision will be shared with all participants and will be posted on the MMEA Website and Facebook Page.

Thank you for your patience as we navigate this weather challenge.
