PAW to hold yard sale for animal welfare

SULLIVAN, Maine — The animal welfare and advocacy group Protecting Animals’ Welfare will hold its 2nd annual benefit yard sale 8 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 23, at the Sullivan Town Office, 1888 Route 1. All proceeds go to pet caregivers who are unable to pay for spay/neuter, immunization, and other medical costs for pets. PAW also provides assistance to companion animals through its volunteer programs.
