TOPSFIELD, Maine– Residents are having a big yard sale to raise money to replace their decades old, weathered veterans monument from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 12 at the corner of Routes 1 and 6.  Folks born and raised here, as well as many “from away” have joined the effort.  There will also be raffles and food for sale.

The monument will honor residents of Topsfield and Codyville who served in wars or conflicts overseas. They had to reside in either of the towns when they entered the service to be honored. For information, you can contact Eva Severance, Topsfield town registrar and tax collector, at 207-796-2667.
