Saturday, Feb 16, 9:30 – 4:00 Winter Kayaking in Stonington
Join Maine Licensed Guides, Nate Hanson & Michael Daugherty, for a guided sea kayak excursion from Webb Cove, Stonington. Never paddled in February before? They can help make it safe and comfortable with proper gear, and guidance. Some experience required; if you haven’t done any rescue practice in the last year, we recommend a pool session at the Ellsworth Y. There, Nate & Michael can help you learn and polish your skills in warm water. Still not sure? Check-out for examples of our winter trips.

Trip will depart from Old Quarry Ocean Adventures in Stonington. All equipment, including boats and drysuits, is available to rent through Old Quarry, but you’re welcome to use your own. Enrollment is limited by available drysuits, so sign-up early. This trip will only run if conditions permit, foul weather date is Sunday, Feb 17th. For questions call Michael at 367-5997. Call Old Quarry to register (and reserve equipment if necessary) at 367-8977. Registration is $20 (a portion of this fee will go to support IHT).
