The Unitarian Universalist Society of Bangor invites you to join us on December 14 at 10:00 AM for our Sunday service. We are located at 120 Park St, Bangor, just up the hill behind City Hall. We have a vital Religious Education program and all children are welcome! This Sunday the Reverend Arthur Vaeni will be in the pulpit. According to tradition in our culture, the forbidden fruit taken by Eve and Adam was an apple. Was it the same fruit that appeared in an old German miracle story depicting a statue of baby Jesus reaching for the gift of an apple offered by a poor clockmaker one Christmas Eve? What revelations from these stories speak to our hearts through the taking and giving of that apple?
