UMFK Bengal co-ed soccer camp offered this summer

The University of Maine at Fort Kent Athletic department will offer a week-long day co-ed soccer camp this summer. Registration is open to children entering kindergarten through eighth grade.

The Bengal co-ed soccer camp will be held from Monday, July 9 through Thursday, July 12. Daily soccer sessions will be split into age groups with the kindergarten through grade three in the morning session from 9 to 10:30 a.m. The cost of the camp is $40 per camper. Grades four through eight will attend the session from 9 a.m. to 12 noon. The cost is $60 per camper.

In-depth and individualized instruction in an extremely competitive, fun environment will be offered during the camp.

The camp will feature experienced college and high school coaches and players who will work closely with campers, stressing fundamentals and improvement of skills. Guest lectures, demonstrations, contests, and games will round out the week-long camp.

The camps continue to be popular with local residents, as well as visitors who spend their summers in the Valley.
