FAIRFIELD, Maine — As the painting of the Clinton A. Clauson Bridge nears completion, crews will be taking down tarps, cable and steel fencing that will necessitate a ramp and lane closure on Interstate 95, according to Maine Department of Transportation.
On Wednesday and Thursday, July 30 and 31, the I-95 northbound on-ramp at Exit 133 will be closed. Motorists will be detoured to Exit 132 via routes 201 and 139. This two-day ramp closure is part of a 10-day northbound lane closure in the same vicinity.
Travelers are advised to allow extra time and to drive cautiously through the work zone along the short detour route.
