Danielle Marie Ribaudo has joined the Belfast Yoga Studio and is offering her first two weeks of classes free for those who would like to give her style a try.

Ribaudo’s Power Flow Yoga classes are on Wednesdays from 9:30-11:00 am with the July 10 and 17 classes being free to try. Power Flow Yoga is a class that will wake you up, open you up, get you moving and get you grooving. Danielle will guide you by creating inner heat using your breath and movement to flow with strength and play with postures.

Her Dynamic Flow Yoga classes will be Thursday evenings from 6:30-7:45 pm. Dynamic is a force that stimulates change or progress within a system or process, while Flow moves along or out steadily and continuously in a current stream. This class is a place to flow gracefully and steadily. Find freedom through the challenges that arise on your mat and draw inward during your practice. Warming. Opening. Releasing. The July 11 and 18 class are free to try, so come on in.

“Both flow classes focus on alignment,” explains Ribaudo, “so be prepared to challenge yourself and to laugh, keeping your heart light, creating space for the endless possibilities and to lead with an open heart on and off the mat.”

Ribaudo has recently come from teaching on the West Coast when her partner was offered an opportunity to chef at the new, high end restaurant, The Gothic, in down town Belfast. She fits right in to Belfast’s mix of holistic practices as she has held a curiosity of both of the physical and energetic realm since a young age.

“My mother inspired me and she shared many books on spirituality and natural healing and had family discussions about them at the dinner table,” says Ribaudo.

Feeling supported to explore her passions she took courses at Scottsdale Community College on energy healing modalities with a focus on balancing and cleansing the aura using Therapeutic Touch. In 2008 she deepened her yoga practice and completed her 200 hour yoga teacher training in Tempe Arizona led by Anusara inspired instructor Christy Burnette and Kripalu instructor Rhoda Mirium.

Since then she has had the opportunity to study with many inspiring teachers, aiding her to develop a teaching style that pulls from various yogic backgrounds. Danielle loves to lead workshops with focuses on the chakras or specialized postures. In her daily classes you will find a dynamic blend of asana with a strong guidance of breath.

The Belfast Yoga Studio is at 9 Field Street in the red and white Belfast Center, just above the Belfast harbor footbridge. For directions and more information on these classes you may call 207-338-3930 or go to www.belfastyoga.com.
