ROME — The Travis Mills Foundation, a non-profit that provides our nation’s heroes respite and retreat in the heart of Maine, received a $1,300 donation today from the annual Coastal Mustang Cruise.  SSG Travis Mills, and his wife Kelsey, were on hand at Darling’s Ford in Bangor to accept the donation.

The Cruise, a day-long event for Mustang enthusiasts, was hosted earlier in the year by Darling’s Ford, Batten Motorsports, and Winterport Dragway.

The Travis Mills Foundation was founded by SSG Travis Mills, with the intention to provide programs and activities to support veterans and their families.  Their family retreat in the Belgrade Lakes region of Maine offers adaptive activities to help provide rest and relaxation to injured veterans and their families.  In 2017, the foundation hosted 84 veteran families who were able to participate in a variety of adaptive activities and sports.
