Supper, auction set for Aug. 19

STEUBEN, Maine — There will be a  silent auction and bean supper from 5-6 p.m. on Saturday, Aug 19 at The Henry D. Moore Library and Parish House, 22 Village Rd.
The supper begins at 6 p.m. downstairs in the auditorium.

Among the items to be sold during the auction are a framed photograph by award-winning local photographer Johanna S. Billings, a framed photo by Craig Snapp, a framed wood cut by Bob Bryson, “The Old Woman Who Lived in the Shoe” book and crocheted set hand crafted by Sharon Barnes, a framed wild flowers cross stitch picture donated by Jeanne Benedict and much more. Auction attendees can enjoy a selection of hors d’oeuvres and snacks along with punch.

The supper menu includes baked beans, macaroni and cheese, hot dogs, cole slaw, corn muffins, gingerbread with whipped cream, coffee and tea.
