Maine’s tourism industry relies in large part on temporary summer help. Employing students, and teens in general, some of who may have little or no experience as employees, or functioning in a work environment, creates a host of distinct issues that require creative solutions. Join Beth Smith and Tawny Alvarez as they explore the nuances in law that apply when employing this segment of the population and things that employers can do to mitigate the risks associated with these issues.
A complimentary light breakfast will be provided for on-site seminar attendees.
This program will also be webcast. Please e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
