Summer Block Party and Fundraiser for Boys and Girls Club and The Red Nose Foundation

On Sunday, May 21st, from 12pm to 4pm, the Boys & Girls Club of Bangor will be hosting the 1st Annual Red Nose Day Fundraiser at the Downtown Waterfront with support from Walgreens on Oak Street! Show your support for local and global children and enjoy a party full of food, child-friendly games, a bounce house, face-painting, music, and raffle prizes. Participation is by donation only.
All proceeds will go to Comic Relief Inc. and the Boys & Girls of Bangor. The Red Nose Day Foundation is an initiative of Comic Relief Inc. whose mission is to end child poverty by supporting organizations that ensure kids are safe, healthy, educated, and empowered. Since 2015, Red Nose Day in America has raised over $60 million to help kids and young people most in need.
The Boys & Girls Club gives young people opportunities that will support them in reaching their full potential as productive, caring and responsible citizens. The Club encourages and increases academic success, physical fitness, and healthy relationships. Participants benefit from positive mentoring, homework help, and education around healthy lifestyle choices.
Come get silly for a good cause! Purchase your own Red Nose from Walgreens on Oak Street and make a difference in your community.
