St. Joseph Healthcare announces trustee appointments

BANGOR, Maine — St. Joseph Healthcare  in Bangor has appointed the following individuals to the SJH Board of Trustees.

Trustees of St. Joseph Healthcare are chosen based on their level of business skills and expertise in order to support SJH in both an advisory and oversight role. They also demonstrate a firm commitment to act as ambassadors within the area served by SJH, representing the Organization’s mission of community service.

Robert A. Clark PhD, CFA of Bangor, President of Husson University in Bangor. Dr. Clark earned his Doctorate in Finance at Purdue University in 1989 with a minor in Econometrics. In addition to his role as President and CEO, he is also a Distinguished Professor of Business at Husson. Dr. Clark also serves as President of the Maine Independent College Association and is a member of the NCAA Division II Presidential Advisory Panel. He is also a member of Rotary International, the BusinessWeek Advisory Panel, American Finance Association and numerous other professional organizations.

Glenn D. Goodwin CPA of Atkinson, Maine is a partner in the Bangor accounting firm of Loiselle, Goodwin & Hinds. Goodwin currently serves on the boards of numerous Bangor area nonprofit organizations, including Community Health & Counseling Services, OHI, Eastern Maine Community College Foundation, Ronald McDonald House of Bangor, Pine Tree Chapter American Red Cross, and the Bangor Museum and History Center. He is also a member of Rotary International.

Patricia L. Quirk of Bangor. A University of Maine graduate, Quirk is President and CEO of Hampden Home Builders, Inc., and a licensed broker with the real estate firm of ERA Dawson-Bradford of Bangor. She is President of the Executive Board of the Collins Center for the Arts atthe University of Maine in Orono and is a member of the Board of Visitors of Husson University in Bangor. She is a member of the National Association of Realtors and the National Home Builders and Remodelers Association.
