CUMBERLAND — Sevee & Maher Engineers announces the promotion of Brian Pierce, PE, and Lisa Jacob, CG, to principal at the civil and environmental engineering firm.
Pierce and Jacob joined the company’s multidisciplinary leadership team of experts in civil engineering, environmental compliance, solid waste engineering, site investigation and remediation, geotechnical engineering, and water resources.
Pierce, SME’s chief engineer, has been with the firm for 20 years. He is a Maine-licensed professional engineer experienced in the management and design of civil and environmental engineering projects, construction management, and environmental site assessments, with specialized expertise in landfill engineering.
A Maine native, Pierce graduated from the University of Maine in Orono with a bachelor’s degree in civil and environmental engineering. He lives in Gray with his wife Amy and their two children.
Jacob, a senior geologist and geophysicist, joined the firm in 2014. She is a Maine-certified geologist with over 20 years of experience in site characterization and remediation, including hazardous waste investigations and remediation of soil, bedrock, and groundwater.
Jacob has a bachelor’s degree in geology from Smith College and a master’s in Geology/Geophysics from Wright State University. She lives in Cumberland with her husband Wayne Clark.
