CUMBERLAND – Sevee & Maher Engineers (SME) announced the addition of two civil engineers to its staff in response to increased demand for the firm’s services.

Ben Monohon brings to SME more than 13 years of experience as a project manager and field engineer on a wide variety of large construction and environmental remediation projects. He previously worked for leading engineering and construction firms in Massachusetts and New York where he gained expertise in all stages of project development and execution. He earned a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Northeastern University in Boston.

Jenna Gilbert, E.I.T., is a 2019 graduate of the University of Maine in Orono, where she studied civil and environmental engineering, with a concentration in water resources engineering. Her work at SME encompasses a variety of assignments primarily in civil design and engineering, stormwater management and permitting. Gilbert has experience in a range of civil, geotechnical, and hydrological engineering projects where she has gained expertise in subsurface investigations, stormwater systems, and roadway design and construction.

“We are excited to add Ben and Jenna to our team,” said SME Vice President Dan Diffin. “Their capabilities and energy will help us continue to provide our clients with responsive, high-quality solutions.”
