Scott Storgaard joins Acadia Trust, N.A. as VP and senior portfolio manager

 PORTLAND, Maine — Stephen Tall, president and chief executive officer of Acadia Trust, N.A., is pleased to announce that Scott Storgaard has joined the company as vice president and senior portfolio manager.

Storgaard, who is joining the firm’s team serving the central Maine and Down East regions, will manage trust and agency investments for individuals and institutions.

 “Our clients expect the highest standards of service excellence and independent investment management, coupled with local decision-making,” said Stephen Tall in a press release. “We have the strongest investment and trust service team in Maine, with an outstanding investment track record, and we are well-prepared to help guide our clients in achieving their financial goals.”

 Storgaard received a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Maine, and has been serving and advising trust clients for more than 25 years in the greater Bangor market.

Storgaard has lent volunteer support to many local organizations including the Bangor Homeless Shelter, Bangor Rotary Club, and the Bangor YMCA. He and his wife have three children, and live in Veazie.
