GRAY, Maine — Patient Advocates has grown its base of clients over the last months and, as a result, has made additions to its customer service team. Renee Charlton has been hired as the company’s newest customer service representative.

Among its offerings, Patient Advocates provides support for self-insured Maine businesses.  Charlton will assist those businesses’ employees with health benefit questions, ensuring that each client has the information and resources needed to achieve the best possible health outcomes.

“We work closely with employers, who must provide quality healthcare options to their employees; this is a big issue right now, especially in light of recent legislation,” said Jim Ward, president of Patient Advocates, in a press release. “Their employees need to get the right information quickly and effectively, and Renee is going to be an excellent resource for information and assistance in finding the best path for healthcare and wellness.”

Charlton comes to Patient Advocates with six years of customer service experience in private medical offices and a national insurance company.  She resides in Gray with her husband.
