Nicole Fortier Joins Burns & McDonnell’s Maine Team

PORTLAND, Maine — The New England office of Burns & McDonnell has promoted Nicole Fortier to Project Controls Specialist working in its Portland office.

Fortier, a resident of Portland,  will be working on the Maine Power Reliability Program, the largest construction project in Maine’s history. Burns & McDonnell serves as Program Manager on the electric infrastructure improvements project. Fortier will work out of the project’s New Gloucester office as well as Burns & McDonnell’s newly acquired Portland office.

Fortier began full-time employment with Burns & McDonnell in 2012 in their New Eng-land Headquarters located in Wallingford, CT. There she worked in the Project Controls department working on a $1.3 billion series of electric transmission line projects spanning Connecticut and Massachusetts.

In her new role, Fortier serves as a Project Scheduler under the Project Controls Department. Her responsibilities include developing, managing and updating both the program and contractor schedules on the Maine Power Reliability Program.

A former resident of Niantic, CT., Fortier has relocated to live in Portland, ME. Fortier earned a Bachelor’s Degree from Eastern Connecticut Stated University.
