New England College of Business and Finance (NECB), recently named by the U.S. Department of Education as the most affordable private college in New England and the leading institution of online education designed for working adults seeking career advancement, today announced the addition of four new programs in high-demand, high-growth fields. Applications are now being accepted for enrollment in the new programs, including the Master of Healthcare Management program and the Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study in Human Resource Management, which are slated to begin on February 18, as well as the Bachelor of Science in Digital Marketing and the Bachelor of Science in International Business programs, which will start on March 4.

“NECB is always adapting to meet the evolving needs of professionals in the business and finance fields, in particular, by developing new programs in areas with strong employment growth prospects,” said Howard Horton, NECB president. “At NECB, students will receive a high-quality education taught by leading industry experts and business executives to position them for career success within these high-demand fields.”

The new programs were developed as a result of extensive research including a nationwide survey of working adults to test the viability of each program. Each program will be offered fully online through the school’s Canvas Learning Management System, which helps students track their progress and measure their success at any given time during a course. Students enrolled in these programs will also have access to extensive support services such as academic and career advising, financial counseling, library and research skills workshops, and 24/7 free, online tutoring.

These new programs and NECB’s existing business and finance degree programs aim to give students the opportunity to apply their new skills to their current jobs or use them as a springboard to advance their careers. Students enrolled in the new Master of Healthcare Management program will take courses, including Healthcare Policy and Law, and Risk and Regulatory Compliance, which will better position them to understand how policy implementation and business management intersect in the healthcare field. Because the program includes strategic course topics and a 360 degree approach to education, these students and their peers will graduate better prepared for the increasingly complex business environment. As technology continues to change the way students learn and businesses operate, programs like NECB’s new Bachelor of Science in Digital Marketing program position students for career success through courses such as Virtual Business Operations and Management. Both the degree programs and the new Human Resources advanced graduate study certificate are ideal for working professionals who want to become leaders in their fields and firms.
