Haake retired after 34 years with the Bank of Hawaii. In her spare time she enjoys bowling, golfing, softball, gardening and volunteer work, as well as spending time with her dog, Brie.

Haake will be visiting the Department of Maine Aug. 15-17.  She will be arriving at Bangor International Airport at 11:43 a.m. to the welcoming by the Aisle of Honor.  After lunch at the Ground Round we will be heading to Machias at the River Inn.  At 6 p.m., she and her escorts will arrive at the Bluebird Restaurant for supper with local VFW and VFWA members.

We will be having breakfast on Aug. 16 at 7:30 a.m. at Helen’s Restaurant and then heading off to Columbia Falls for a tour of Wreaths across America.  Departing at 11:30 a.m., we will head for Ellsworth Post 109 for a meet and greet luncheon with local VFW and VFWA members.

Prior to her flight out from Portland Jetport, Haake will have breakfast with her Department of Maine VFWA escorts.
