MILLINOCKET, Maine — Millinocket Regional Hospital is pleased to announce they have hired Jason Fugleberg, RN, BSN as Vice President of Patient Services/Chief Nursing Officer. Fugleberg will assume his new duties at MRH on May 5, 2014.
“Jason is a dedicated and award-winning nurse, with excellent leadership experience.” said Lisa Arsenault, VP of Human Resources at MRH, in a press release. “Jason has developed an impeccable record for implementing new technology and he has increased efficiencies substantially during his tenure as Chief Nursing Officer at Walter Knox Memorial Hospital. We look forward to welcoming him to the MRH staff and to the community.”
Jason Fugleberg graduated from Brigham Young University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing with a focus in inpatient and emergency care as well as a focus in leadership and management. He and his wife, Ashley, and their two children, Zoey and Jensen, have lived in Emmett, Idaho for the past three years where Fugleberg has worked as the Chief Nursing Officer of their community hospital, Walter Knox Memorial Hospital.
Fugleberg looks forward to helping Millinocket Regional Hospital continue to provide excellent and compassionate care close to home for the members of this community. “I want to continue the tradition of excellence and exceed the standards of practice in rural healthcare. The team at MRH is innovative, forward thinking and has a positive attitude that is essential in navigating through the many changes in healthcare today,” he said. These characteristics are what attracted Jason and Ashley to move their family from Idaho to Maine. “We feel like our values are consistent with the values of MRH and we can’t wait to make the Katahdin region our new home.”
