The Mid-Maine Community Forum, the Pittsfield Public Library, and the Maine Humanities Council present
“We Are All Hospice Workers”
Thursday, April 10 | 5pm
at the First Universalist Church of Pittsfield
Maybe you’ve been asked to carry out the trash, be a pen pal, or walk the dog for someone closing in on the end of life. April’s forum deals with the one of life’s certainties and its importance for both the giver and receiver of care. As part of the Library’s ongoing “End of Life” series and with a grant from the Maine Humanities Council, Regional Coordinator for Hospice Volunteers of Somerset County Susan Morton will share her more than twenty years of experience with hospice. Morton notes, “Everybody is a hospice worker – even a good neighbor.” Join us to learn more and share your own experience. Presentation will be followed by Q&A and refreshments.
NOTE TIME CHANGE from posted flyers: Speaker begins at 5 PM!!
The Mid-Maine Community Forum offers talks every spring (February, March, April, May) and fall (September, October, November) and is free and open to all.
