“Meet Your Candidates” night is set for Oct. 22, at WCCC

Candidates for Calais City Council will have the opportunity to speak and discuss issues important to Calais citizens at a public forum at Washington County Community College (WCCC) on Tuesday, Oct. 22, from 6:30 to 9 p.m. This event is sponsored by the Calais Downtown Revitalization Coalition (CDRC) which held the forum last year with the assistance of WCCC interim president, Bill Cassidy.

Vying for a three year term are the following candidates: William W. Howard, III, Marcia A. Rogers, Michael R. Sherrard, and C. Louis Bernardini.

Each candidate will be able to give a short speech, and then take questions from the audience. Program moderator is Jim Thompson.
