PORTLAND — The Manufacturers Association of Maine elected the following at its annual gala on Oct. 24: Alan Lapoint, president, the Strainrite Companies, chair of board; Judith Borelli, director of Public Affairs, Texas Instruments as vice chair of board and newly elected board member, Chuck Bates, Senior HR and facilities, GDOTS.
The Manufacturers Association of Maine presented the “Above and Beyond” Award to Jen Fullmer of Boots 2 Roots for connecting returning military members to careers in manufacturing. The 2019 Hall of Fame inductees were Cheryl Bolduc, South Maine Industries and Charles “Wick” Johnson, Kennebec Technologies.
