PORTLAND —  Maine Foodie Tours loves showcasing the amazing culinary creations found in Maine while sharing the local culture. Striving to provide fun-filled experiences for our guests as they sample scrumptious offerings from the local foodie scene, new tours have been launched that will be available through the fall.

Here’s a brief look at what’s NEW at Maine Foodie Tours:

Portland’s newest hot spot: Washington Ave tours- A lunchtime culinary walking tour and afternoon happy hour tour, visiting award-winning bakeries, distilleries, restaurants, shops and more.

Portland “After Dark” Tours-Think of a good, old-fashioned pub crawl intermingled with stories and history of the scenic Old Port.  Enjoy an evening of entertainment with new friends.

Doggie and Me Tours-Offered in Kennebunkport, Portland and Bar Harbor, these tours have gone to the dogs…literally!  We share nutrition tips while spoiling your fur-baby and you, but honestly, the pups get spoiled the most. Profits from these tours go to animal welfare and humane societies throughout Maine.

Portland Progressive Dinner Tours- Offered for up to 6 guests treated to appetizers, entrees and desserts with a unique peek into the food scene in Portland.

Portland Lunchtime “Award-Winning” Restaurant Tour-  Led by Portland’s senior tour “sherpas” to only the very best restaurants in town.

Maine History Tours- Launched in Portland and Bar Harbor, these two-hour walking tours offer the history of significant buildings, ports and wharves that make these harbor towns unique, always ending on a sweet note, literally.

Private tours by request- For your group of 8+, we have options on land and in the Portland harbor to creatively satisfy those who love to experience the local culture and culinary offerings.

Guests can choose from these and other existing Maine Foodie Tours available in Portland, Kennebunk, Bar Harbor and Boothbay Harbor.  A full description of all tours can be found at www.mainefoodietours.com.
