AUBURN – Lotus Restaurant is open for business on what are two of the most food-oriented holidays of the year. Lotus will be offering its special holiday buffet for Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, and New Year’s Day, with the restaurant operating at regular hours of 11 a.m. – 10 p.m. for all four days.

“The holidays are busy for people – especially people with kids,” said Jim Wu, owner of Lotus Restaurant. “Everyone wants a good, special meal at the holidays. But sometimes putting all of the effort into making a big meal for the family adds stress. Lotus is removing the stress, but offering something that is special for the holidays. It’s a big feast with something that everyone will enjoy.”

The Lotus holiday buffet includes specialties such as Slow-Roasted Duck, Bourbon Glazed Steak, and Applewood Smoked Ham, as well as all of the traditional delicious sides like homemade mashed potatoes, winter veggies, and delicious pies. The price for the holiday buffet is just $11.99 per person.

“The holidays are meant to be special and spent with family,” said Wu. “So it’s important for us to keep our price as reasonable as possible so families can gather and enjoy a really nice meal for a really important holiday.”

In addition to the buffet opportunities, Lotus is offering a deal where people purchasing $30 or more in gift cards will receive an extra $5 in gift cards.

“This community has been so important to me and my family, the extra $5 is our little gift to you,” said Wu.

Lotus is located at 279 Center Street in Auburn offering a full buffet with Asian and American options, as well as a full menu.
