Local foods on display to professional chefs in Bangor

BANGOR — Native Maine Produce & Specialty Foods® (NMPSF) (Westbrook, Maine) is hosting the company’s first Industry only fall food show in Bangor, ME to highlight Maine grown & processed foods & highly celebrated imported & specialty foods that our firm distributes.  These foods are sold to professional chef’s/wholesale kitchens through much of the State of Maine and all over New England by NMPSF.  In addition to locally grown foods, NMPSF Profession Staff Chefs:  Jeff Landry, Marion Bannon, David Coyle & Leslie Runser will also will display & sample some of the 450+ “Native Maine®”  house branded foods offered by the firm.  Complete lines of Maine grown fresh produce, Maine made cheeses & other local dairy products available from NMPSF will be featured.  NMPSF proudly represents wholesale distribution on behalf of many independent hard working Maine farmers as well as the many Maine growers for The Unity Food Hub. http://www.unityfoodhub.com

The venue for this “industry only” food show is the Hilton Garden Inn, 250 Haskell Rd, Bangor, ME on Monday September 25th from Noon-4pm.  There is no cost to attend; however, professional credentials as a food service professional are required to gain entrance; this show is not open to the general public.  Interested, qualified parties should contact NMPSF Customer Service at 207-856-1100 to pre-register to attend or simply show up at the venue on Monday.

We operate a fleet of 40+ modern, refrigerated delivery trucks and service 1800+ professional New England chefs daily with over 3000 quality, in stock products.  NMPSF operates a one million cubic foot, modern, accredited food service distribution facility. We focus on supporting local, regional & high quality food producers by delivering their products directly to professional New England kitchens.  In 2016 we proudly delivered almost 7 million pounds of New England grown/processed food to New England chefs.
